Just returned from an incredible trip to Greece and Rome. Pictures and commentary pending.
For now, I just want to take a second to freak out a little bit about the fact that I’m leaving Paris in a little over a week. It’s already really weird being back in Paris now that almost all of my study abroad friends are back in the States. This big city somehow feels a little empty without them. Plus Delphine and Ghislain are on holiday at their island home (again) so Ari and I are just chilling in this big ole Neuilly apartment by ourselves.
I’m taking these last few days to play the tourist. I spent so much of my time here trying to blend in. To my credit, I even succeeded a couple of times to the undiscerning eye. Lost Americans stumbled over their French to ask me for directions at least twice. TOTALLY look like a local. On my good days. Which I guess means only two times this semester…
I guess because I spent all that time trying to be inconspicuous, now there’s still more than a few Parisian landmarks that I need to check off my to-do list. I don’t even think I went to the Eiffel Tower until like a month and a half ago. So fresh of my 10 day tourist run in Greece and Rome, I’m ready for round two chez moi.
